  1. Having consulted the spec and teacher advice given by the exam board it has been pointed out that this brief is for a teaser trailer not a theatrical trailer, which would generally be much longer. Consequently I am going to suggest that, if possible you edit the piece down to about 90 secs.

    This should not be that hard at all as most shots are too long and you could probably trim about 30 secs off just by trimming most of the existing shots. However it will also allow you to cut out completely any material which you might be regarding as "filler".

    It will also generally crank the pace up, by nature of the shots being shorter.

    Obviously this will affect the music and what you have will now be too long. But it might be worth considering using something that is a bit faster anyway.

    Get the edit done as quick as you can so you have a little time to consider this.
